Clean and simple typography mixed with vintage postage stamp artwork give a nod to years gone by. The ‘Shoreline‘ wedding invitation suite from our new Umi 2 album is the perfect invitation for a beach chic affair. We were inspired by sun-washed French ticking textiles and the traditional Nantucket basket weave that pay homage to coastal New England living. We chose to letterpress print this design in a timeless combination of ‘Navy Blue’ and ‘Stone’ gray inks on crisp, white 100% cotton rag paper. The nautical sea life icons create a classic beachy feel, while the simplistic organic nature of the artwork gives this invitation a modern touch. We recently designed a custom invitation for the ‘Ladies Who Lunch’ event benefiting the Temple Solel Early Childhood Center in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, CA. We were so delighted to see that our invitation design inspired these amazing cookies that were personalized just for us! We were blown away by the gratitude the women of the Temple showered upon us. It’s this type of response that makes us so thankful to be in this wonderful business. (Not to mention, the cookies were delicious!)

Urban meets rustic with the trendsetting ‘Patisserie‘ wedding invitation suite from our new Umi 2 album. Antique lace inspired artwork is kicked up a notch when paired with bold distressed typography. We chose to letterpress this invitation in cool ‘Fog’ gray and bright ‘Mango’ inks which when paired together emphasize this design’s hip and stylish edge.
