Letterpress printed on 100% cotton rag paper, this mid-century inspired marvel features dynamic patterns and modern type that emphasize the depth and texture of this groovy design. We chose a fun color palette of light ‘Water’ blue and rich ‘Pumpkin’ orange, however, with a switch to deep ‘Concord’ purple and pale ‘Fog’ gray, this invitation would fab for a sophisticated evening affair. The ‘Shoreline‘ wedding invitation suite from our new Umi 2 album is the perfect invitation for a beach chic affair. We were inspired by sun-washed French ticking textiles and the traditional Nantucket basket weave that pay homage to coastal New England living. We chose to letterpress print this design in a timeless combination of ‘Navy Blue’ and ‘Stone’ gray inks on crisp, white 100% cotton rag paper. The nautical sea life icons create a classic beachy feel, while the simplistic organic nature of the artwork gives this invitation a modern touch. The charming ‘Knit‘ wedding invitation suite from our new Umi 2 album was
‘made with love’ in mind. We were inspired by the new generation of handmade knits that have brought new life to this age-old art. Handmade goods are expressions of love and patience; the ‘Knit‘ wedding invitation is a tender reflection of that endearing love and warmth. We just can’t get enough of the texture that was created when we letterpress printed this invitation on luxurious 100% cotton rag paper.
We chose soothing ‘Buff’ and ‘Copper’ inks, however, what about ‘Stone’ gray and ‘Navy Blue’ for a nautical theme, or pale ‘Petal’ pink and ‘Smokey Lilac’ for a spring affair?! We brought new life to old Hollywood glamour with the ‘La Fontaine‘ wedding invitation suite from our Elum Couture Vol. 2 album. The art deco inspired white on white artwork is letterpress printed on luxurious 100% cotton paper using a colorless ‘Blind Deboss’ printing technique that is sophisticated, yet eye-catching.
